Just got home after enjoying a perfect meal here with my sister. She had the eggplant rollatini which she raved about. I had the butternut squash ravioli with a butter and walnut sauce. Perfect! My Bombay Sapphire martini was right on the mark. Topped it off with an Expresso, and our wonderful server Victoria suggested the apple crisp with cinnamon ice cream. Delicious!! Thanks Victoria! You are a real pro. We'll be back!!
Off the Vine is as good a restaurant as it gets. I regularly order pizza from here and find it as good as any place in Boston. My most recent experience was for an eat in meal for two: I ordered the pan fried scallops, and my dining partner ordered the salmon. Each of them was as good as (if not better than) Legal Seafoods. The salmon was prepared perfectly and served over rice. I thoroughly enjoyed my scallops with sweet potatoes. The service was great, as always. The staff seems to go out of the way to make the dining experience a pleasant one. Off the Vine isn't the closest place to me, but it's definitely my "go to" place for a nice dinner out.
This is our go-to-place for an inexpensive Friday night dinner. It can get very busy but worth the wait. Sometimes my daughter and I go just for a beer and watch toe Sox game. We think to food is a good value and well prep'd. Try the Kobe burger. Best ever! The pizzas are good with a creative selection. Nice selection of beers as well. We love the Long Trail.
